The Cedar Crest Inn is a splendid pink victorian mansion up a steep hill above downtown Biltmore Village. The house is quite remarkable, with original wood paneling creating a gleaming dark glamour. We had chosen the least expensive room, which was predictably on the small side, especially the bathroom, but it was comfortable and clean. The bed was probably full size rather than Queen. The Inn had only just reopened after a long closure post Hurricane Helene, and there were not many guests. They had said they were not yet serving a full breakfast, and it exceeded our expectations, with fresh yogurt berries, fruit, and granola, along with hard boiled eggs and various bars and snack packs. Hot coffee was kept out all day, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies were put out. It was a quick, completely direct drive to the heart of downtown Asheville. Biltmore Village is still being rebuilt after Helene. We were happy to be able to patronize this grande dame of a B&B as Biltmore Village starts to recover.

We were truly honored to spend our honeymoon staying at the Cedar Crest Inn. The pictures do not do this building justice. It is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking with the preservation of all of the old stylings of the home. They serve a two-course breakfast every morning, hot and fresh, and accommodate for both vegetarians and gluten-free individuals. The breakfast was so delicious, and the beds were insanely comfortable. At one point, my husband literally said to me "I can't wait to go to bed so I can have breakfast again" LOL. The staff is super friendly, and it was overall a fantasy for us. We will be returning for our one-year anniversary!

Since we arrived after check-in time, we were provided with all the needed instructions to get into our room. reserved room was located on the top floor, so we did not hear any noise, mainly people downstairs would hear us walking up the stairs and then pacing back and forth. The room had a bath tub, which we really enjoyed after a long hiking day. They lounge areas are really nice. However the patio is too noisy to sit outside and relax, there were lot's of birds in the morning, due the traffic noise the Merlin app wasn't able to pick any bird sounds.

Upon arrival we couldn’t believe the location was absolutely fantastic , a 3 min drive to the biltmore and downtown and the blue ridge parkway 10 min . We stayed in the stable suite and omg it was so beautiful and spacious with a full kitchen and washer and dryer and the staff was an absolute dream .. from Ally, Christy and Jessica making our stay wonderful with all there kindness !! We were so incredibly happy with our stay and would recommend staying here for anyone that’s wants a romantic trip to the mountains !!

Breakfast was so delicious. Something unique and different each day, what a great chef! They had delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies everyday too. We enjoyed the Serenity room very much. Bed and sheets were so comfy. Had our own private veranda. Was about 1.6 miles from downtown Asheville. Went to mass in downtown Asheville’s beautiful basilica, they offered a little tour (no charge) for those visiting at the end which was done by a very nice gentleman. Was very interesting.
